The 2024 PGA Championship will tip off on Saturday, May 18, with the third round at Valhalla Golf Club. But before that, the second round must be completed. Only after the end of Round 2 will the times for Saturday's game be released. If they are, they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post.

Predicting Round 3 tee times

The start of the second round of the PGA Championship was delayed on Friday morning following a horrific bus accident, with times starting an hour and 20 minutes later than scheduled. As a result, it is unlikely that all players will be able to complete their second round before dark on Friday evening.

If that happens, those players will have to continue their rounds on Saturday morning. Once Round 2 is officially completed, the cutoff will be made and times for Saturday's third round will be given. The start of the third round could have an impact if so.

We can look to last year's PGA Championship to get an idea of when tee times will fall if not delayed. On Saturday at the 2023 PGA at Oak Hill, Mark Hubbard and Rikuya Hoshino found out that the round started at 8:10 am ET. The final pairing of Scottie Scheffler and Corey Conners began at 2:50 pm ET.

This post will be updated as the outlook for Saturday's tee times becomes clear.
