Monsters go up 2-0 with Game 2 win over Crunch | TheAHL.com

Hunter McKown had a goal and an assist, Jet Greaves made 17 saves, and Cleveland took a 2-0 lead in the North Division Finals with a 4-1 victory over Syracuse on Saturday afternoon.

The Crunch return home as they face elimination in Game 3 on Wednesday.

Devante Stephens hit a power play 8:07 into the game to give Syracuse a 1-0 lead, but more than three minutes remained before the Monsters tied it Billy Sweezey the goal that entered the middle of the pad of Brandon Halverson and the nearest post office.
