As the 2024 PGA Championship heads toward a thrilling conclusion at Valhalla, fans can start looking ahead to next year's venue.

The 2025 PGA Championship will be held at the same course as the PGA Tour played last week: Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, traditional host of the Wells Fargo Championship.

Of course, we still have a few more majors to get to, including next month's trip to Pinehurst No. 2 for the US Open, a date with Royal Troon in July for the Open Championship and finally back to Augusta next April in 2025. Kings.

But if you'd like to see the next eight big sites for this week, the current list is below. The next open year in the program is 2032, which PGA Chief Championships official Kerry Haigh said they don't yet have a timeline for.

2025: Quail Hollow Club – Charlotte, North Carolina

Justin Thomas loved this year's host, Valhalla, near where he grew up in Kentucky. But he will also like the 2025 host, Quail Hollow, as it is where he won his first championship in 2017. Thomas also featured in the 2022 Presidents Cup victory by the United States there last year. A number of travel professionals call Quail Hollow home, most notably Webb Simpson and Mackenzie Hughes. Rory McIlroy actually calls it home, having now won four times there.

2026: Aronimink Golf Club – Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

Aronimink is a more northerly host than others on this list, and holding the PGA Championship in May can bring inclement weather. But that shows the PGA of America's level of confidence in this golf course. The last time it hosted the world's best men, Keegan Bradley won the 2018 BMW Championship.

2027: PGA Frisco, East – Frisco, Texas

Haven't you heard of this one? We wouldn't blame you. This course is sure to host more PGA tournaments than any other premier course. The PGA of America brought its headquarters to Frisco, Texas, and commissioned Gil Hanse and Beau Welling to design two courses to set up the site. So far, reviews of the Hanse-designed Eastern course, where the tournament will be held, have been positive.

2028: The Olympic Club, Lake – San Francisco, California

This is the only lesson that may not go well in the middle LA Country Club and Royal Liverpool. But when it comes to hosting major men's tournaments, he has beaten them both. The Olympic Club is hosting five The US Opens, most recently with Webb Simpson's victory in 2012. Yuka Saso defeated Lexi Thompson on the Olympic Club fairways back at the 2021 US Women's Open.

2029: Baltusrol Golf Club, Lower – Springfield, New Jersey

The final PGA tournament at Baltusrol was a slop-fest, with a waterlogged course that included lift, cleanup and terrain conditions. However, that course has been completely redone, thanks to Gil Hanse. We got a glimpse of the outcome of that return to the 2023 KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

2030: Congressional Country Club, Blue – Bethesda, Maryland

The recent run of major tournament courses should be heard as part of a trend. All the old clubs have received renovations in recent years. Usually it's from Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, or Andrew Green. The 2030 host, Congressional's Blue course, is no different. Green, the architect behind the 2023 PGA host Oak Hill, has done the same for Congressional. What can we tell you about it? That there are seven years between now and when it will host the big game. We'll let the lesson settle in a bit. See you in 2030.

2031: Ocean Course – Kiawah Island, South Carolina

The beach course designed by Pete and Alice Dye to host the 1991 Ryder Cup has already hosted two PGA championships, both of which resulted in thrilling victories by two of the best players of all time. In 2012, Rory McIlroy hit the field to win his second major by eight shots. Nine years later in 2021, Phil Mickelson made history, becoming the oldest major champion in history, just shy of his 51st birthday.

2034: PGA Frisco, East – Frisco, Texas

We told you to expect to see PGA Frisco early and often on the list of future PGA Championship venues. Before hosting the first, PGA Frisco's East course has been given the second.
