KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Connor Foley was throwing fastballs 97 and 98 mph one way … and Tennessee hitters were blasting his pitches 105 and 107 the other.

Foley, a 6-5, 235-pound right-hander from Indiana, gave up two well-hit homers and took the loss Saturday night as the host and top-ranked Volunteers defeated the third-seeded Indiana Hoosiers, 12-6 to take control of the District of Knoxville.

Tennessee (52-11) is one win away from hosting a big regional game next weekend.
