Draymond Green and Rasheed Wallace Get Heat in 2017 Warriors Debate

Former Pistons player Rasheed Wallace had a trade with Draymond Green about whether the 2004 Pistons could beat the 2017 Warriors.

Golden State's 2017 team was one of the best offensive teams in NBA history, while Detroit's 2004 team was among the best defensive teams ever.

Last week, Wallace stirred things up when he said his 2004 Pistons team would cause problems for the Dubs.

“We were going to beat the sh*t out [the Warriors] because the simple truth is, they couldn't match us in any position,” said Wallace Sheed & Tyler. “Steph is not a defender. He had to watch over Rip. How many screens come out of Rip,” Wallace said confidently. He then named what he felt were other matchup issues such as Tayshaun Prince's scoring ability, which he often lacked due to his superior wing defense, and the play of Chauncy Billups.”

Green answered X, “Sheed we would have hit yall. Yall averaged 72 points per game. That's not half winning. And we put you and those big-ass armies through all the picking and rolling. Let's see you move your feet. That one ring was beautiful even though it was big. We all appreciated it!”

Wallace then beat Green back to X, but made sure to make it clear that there was nothing but love between the two.

“First of all this is not beef, Draymond is my proud lil bro so no matter what we say it will never be personal so don't try to blow this up because we both know how cats act!! !”

He then responded to Green's tweet, saying, “Dray knows how we got down on that squad!! It doesn't matter if the rules are yours or ours …. you all as a team were not very happy… you can ask more than half of my teammates (we played with) on that list… and we can keep it that year b/c there is no way you can play anytime I come on your schedule or you can visit the mines and we can get on the coaches list men on the coach….”
