Paris – Novak Djokovic will undergo knee surgery for a torn meniscus in Paris, which will likely rule him out of Wimbledon, according to a report by L'Equipe.

Yesterday, an MRI scan revealed a torn meniscus in his right knee, forcing Djokovic out of his quarterfinal against Casper Ruud at Roland-Garros.

Djokovic has injured his knee for the past few weeks, and aggravated the injury during his five-set victory over Francisco Cerundolo on Monday in Paris.

Djokovic will be operated on in a Paris clinic by a young French surgeon. The recovery time is reported to be three weeks, which means that Djokovic's participation in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games is still possible.
