Follower of friends Iga Swiatek met the actor and star of Friends Courtney Cox on the stage and in the court where it was presented Except for the first Numbera new film about his life and work.
Except for the first Number an eight-and-a-half-minute film produced by On and directed by the esteemed filmmaker Jason Harper, that explores the complexities of being a professional athlete. It shows how the four-time Grand Slam champion found strength and continued to believe in his dreams with the help of all those who supported the 22-year-old during his rapid rise to the top.
The new film is part of a new series of short films by the Swiss producer entitled “Dream Together.”
Swiatek and American Ben Shelton the outstanding ones Tennis ambassador and former world No. 1 Roger Federer is one of the owners of the On.
To celebrate the launch of the film, On hosted a public event in collaboration with Ace Club at the Center Sportif Jean Dixmier in Paris.
Tennis fans, local players, and ambassadors came together for a day of tennis on the Paris clay courts and a surprise visit from the queen of clay and movie star, Iga Świątek.
The biggest surprise was due to Świątek himself: the Roman champion received the support of “Friends” actress and avid tennis player Courtney Cox.
In 2022, “Friends” fan Świątek had commented on a funny reel showing Cox practicing tennis: “If we played doubles together, no one could beat you… just saying.”
It helped turn that vision into reality in Paris.
After presenting the short film at an exclusive preview for current tennis fans, members of the public, and media, Iga and Courteney chatted during a Q&A session.
After that, and to the delight of more than 50 guests, the new friends took to the court for a short game before Świątek spent some time playing with members of the public.
A film crew followed Iga around the world, from Palm Springs, California, to his hometown of Warsaw in Poland, to gain insight into the intimacy between Iga and his dedicated, well-rounded crew. sports psychologist Daria Abramowicz, tennis coach Tomasz Wiktorowski, and strength and conditioning coach and physiotherapist Maciej Ryszczuk.
The short film portrays Iga as an athlete and young woman who portrays the triumphs, pressures, and expectations that come with being the best player in the world.

“I would like to encourage the younger generation to believe in themselves and their dreams while accepting failure and vulnerability as part of the process,” Świątek says. “Making “Beyond Number One” gave me the opportunity to talk about this topic and give the fans a deeper understanding of my journey so far. It was a great experience for me and my whole team, who loved having me on this project.”
The Swiss brand is planning the next two episodes focusing on runners and On athletes Dominic Lobalu, Sintayehu Vissa, and Hellen Obiri to be released throughout the summer.
On says its “Dream Together” series shows the inspiring lives, struggles, and paths of these athletes on their way to the biggest stages in sports. The series explores the unifying power of ambition and unwavering support that has helped each athlete in different ways on their journey to become the best in their field. “
