From a numbers standpoint, the Bucks and Pelicans don't hold a candle to the other teams. The Cavs have lost 44 games to injury in the team's 12 playoff games, giving them an impressive 3.5 turnovers per game — the highest such number in the league. Notably, some of the top teams on the injury list – the Los Angeles Lakers (3.4) and the Miami Heat (3.2) and the New York Knicks (2.5) – were eliminated from contention. Led by Thibodeau, the Knicks joined the chorus of teams singing “If only we were healthy…” to comfort their fans.
