Sometimes in order for a player to achieve victory, he just needs one person in his corner to support him.
Usually, that's the player's team, coach, or significant other.
However, in Australia Alex de Minaur, a young fan in the crowd makes a difference. Now de Minaur is hoping that social media will help her gain a following before her next match at Roland Garros.

No. 11 seed de Minaur reached the fourth round on Saturday with a hard-fought 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 win over Germany. Jan-Lennard Struff.
During the match, the little boy close to the court was seen encouraging the Aussie during the match. It was important because the young fan, along with the players, endured multiple rain delays and cold weather, but stayed in the game from start to finish.

“That little boy was there from the first point to the last with a five hour rain delay. He was this little kid that every change that ended, every single point I won, he was screaming in my face. You know, I would say, looking at him and thinking about him, you know, if I was a fan, I would probably go back home, because it was bloody cold out there, de Minaur said afterwards.
“I don't understand what this kid is doing, but, oh, he saved me. Every change of fate I look at him, I close my eyes with him. I just hugged him. I was like Mate… It was a relief more than anything. It was amazing. I thank this child (smiling).
“You know, yes, that he spent 10 hours in court today in the freezing cold pushing me, I'm happy that I was able to win with him.”
After the win, de Minaur went up to a young fan and gave him a hug to thank him for his support. He was asked to give him a fan.
“She gave him a towel. I would give him everything in my bag. I mean, I wasn't just thinking about feelings, but he deserved everything; racquets, shoes, whatever he wants.”
Later, de Minaur took to social media asking everyone on the internet if they could help him identify a young fan in hopes of getting him a ticket to his next game.
