“We are willing to make a deal”

Arsenal are expected to lose one of their players to Premier League club Nottingham Forest this summer.

The Gunners have made new additions to their squad and have also allowed some players to leave the club who are no longer part of manager Mikel Arteta's plans at the club.

This team recently sold midfielder Charlie Patino, who was sold by a team playing in the Segunda Division of Spain, Deportivo La Coruna.

Striker Eddie Nketiah could be the next player to leave the club as the England striker is low on the squad and looking for more playing opportunities.

The Gunners have decided to invest in this striker and negotiations are continuing with Forest regarding the sale of this young striker.

Reporter Ben Jacobs spoke exclusively to GiveMeSport and gave an update on the pursuit of Forest Nketiah, who has overtaken Santiago Gimenez in the race to join the club.

Jacobs says:

“Nottingham Forest have moved from Santiago Gimenez to Eddie Nketiah and there are advanced talks now with Arsenal about a fee and all parties are hopeful and willing to do a deal, while Nketiah is willing to move to Nottingham Forest.

Eddie Nketiah is on his way out of Arsenal.

“The conditions are not the problem, it is actually about the package. And, while in Marseille, it was one price they did not meet, which was 30 million Euros; for Nottingham Forest, it is £30 million.

“And this is very common in the windows when clubs sell intra-Premier League, the price is high, because there is always a risk that Nketiah will come and score for you. And, in general, Premier League clubs have more money. “

Eddie Nketiah will leave Arsenal soon

The player is determined to move to Forest and both clubs hope that an agreement will be reached.

Nketiah saw little of the starting line-up at the Emirates Stadium. For most of his career with Arsenal, he has been a support option but a really good one.

His performance off the bench has been impressive for Arteta's team and despite his limited playing time, he has shown that he can make a difference when given more opportunities.

Arteta and his management will be happy to receive £30 million for a player who could be their fourth striker behind Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard.
