Caitlin Clark shared her reaction to the Indiana Fever getting a playoff spot and explained her decision to write “smiley” on Polaroid photos shared by the team on social media.
When it came time for his picture, many of his teammates had already chosen to write “playoffs” on their pictures. Wanting to avoid repetition and personalization, Clark decided against using the same name.
Since he was the last to take his picture, he felt that “smiling” would bring something new and unique to the moment, making his contribution different from the others.
