Man United made the decision for Jadon Sancho after discussions with him in Germany
Manchester United are determined to sell Jadon Sancho this summer after face-to-face talks with him in Germany.
Erik ten Hag revealed that Man United met with the player to discuss his future.
After falling out with Ten Hag, who left him out of the 3-1 defeat against Arsenal at the start of September, the 24-year-old left Man United temporarily to join Borussia Dortmund in January.
Ten Hag simply stated that Sancho's absence is due to his lack of preparation for the game, according to the requirements.
In response, Sancho issued a tweet opposing this. The Dutchman then threw Sancho out since he refused to apologize to him.
The England midfielder impressed during his loan spell in Germany, especially against Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
His performance against the Ligue 1 winners has sparked speculation of a return to Man United.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are looking to sell the player.
John Murtough, United's former director of football, and Matt Hargreaves, director of player negotiations, are believed to have traveled to Germany to meet Sancho.
The Man United manager said, as reported by the Daily Mail:
'We have visited with him. We talked to him while he was there and we will continue with this plan. We will keep in touch with him and keep in touch with him.'
Leaving Man United helped Sancho regain form
With the crucial second leg of the semi-finals in Paris looming, Sancho will not be considering his future any time soon.
Borussia Dortmund took a 1-0 lead against the French city on Tuesday thanks to a wonder goal from Nicklas Fullkrug.
After beating Augsburg 5-1 in the league—a game where Sancho was rested—Edin Terzic's side will go into the game with a lot of confidence.
