Chelsea have reportedly been linked with representatives for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise over the past year or so, according to Simon Phillips at Substack.
The Blues could do with strengthening the attack next season, and Olise will improve players who are not dropping down like Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke.
According to Phillips, there appears to be substantial interest from everyone on the Chelsea board, with all the key figures clearly involved in a potential deal for the talented young Frenchman.
Olise has come to the fore at Palace in recent times and looks set for a big career, so it's no surprise to see Chelsea chasing him hard, with reports also linking Manchester United as suitors for the 22-year-old.

Olise will have an interesting decision to make this summer if he ends up choosing between Chelsea and Man Utd, with neither team looking quite like the kind of power they once had.
Both teams struggled last season, finishing outside the Champions League places, and it looks like it will be a while before they can compete alongside the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, never mind the threat of the likes of Tottenham. , Aston Villa and Newcastle.
Olise would do well to wait for better offers, though there is no guarantee that the likes of City, Arsenal or Liverpool will come forward or make him a priority this summer.
Chelsea would be a good project for a talented young player like Olise as they have shown a willingness to trust and develop youth, while United are also a big club with history and now hope to return under new ownership and maybe even a new manager.
