Hull, Hall and Korda to face Centurion – Golf News

The UK leg of the Ladies European Tour's Aramco Team Series, which will be held at the Centurion Club from July 3-5, looks like a showcase for the Paris Olympics, and Great Britain's Charley Hull and Georgia Hall will headline it. a top-class field featuring World No1 Nelly Korda.

Last year, Hull beat world No. 1 Nelly Korda in the individual tournament, and Hall was able to captain her team to victory in tough conditions, edging out Hull's team by just one stroke.

Now two young England boys are aiming to secure their places representing Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics and become the first to win a Team GB medal in the women's golf event.

Hull recently achieved a world high of seventh place following his runner-up finish in the Aramco Team Series in Tampa in March.

Reflecting on his preparations for the summer, Hull commented: “At the start of the season I sat down and thought about how I wanted to perform this year. I knew there was going to be an important summer of golf ahead with the Olympic Games, the Solheim Cup and the chase for my first major title.

“I'm in the best place I've ever been in my career, mentally and physically, so having the Aramco Team Series at home is the best way to open the hot summer ahead.

Playing on the field with some of the players I will be facing in Paris, and in a tournament like this one with a feel like a Major, will be good training for me to aim for the gold medal.”

Excited about the prospect of returning to London, Hall said: “The Aramco Team Series in London will be my first appearance at this event this year and I'm busy getting back to playing with what I hope will be a big change. the Solheim Cup in September.

“Competing with Charley as team captain will add even more excitement, especially with friends and family cheering us on. I've played my fair share of Majors and aside from those, the Aramco Team Series is as strong as the best field. It's always a great tournament with great players.”

Joining Hull and Hall will be a field full of talent, including Anne Van Dam from the Netherlands, Shannon Tan from Singapore, and Diksha Dagar from India.
