Kevin Durant Explains Viral Video About Him To Team

Kevin Durant went viral last month when a video of him practicing his shooting form in the club went viral.

During an appearance on “Up & Adams” this week, Durant told the story behind the video for the first time.

“I was lifting all week so my shoulder was a little tight,” Durant said. “…And my boy was like 'I'm going to lock you up, like you're not going to score for me.' When he told me that, I was just trying to show him what I would do when we entered the court.

“..You couldn't see him in the video. He was exactly like the class. I was like I was on a dance floor, and he was yelling at me saying he could watch over me. So I had to show him what I was going to do.”

With a disappointing postseason in the rearview mirror, Durant is now enjoying the summer with the US national team ahead of the Paris Olympics, and recently talked about playing with LeBron James and Steph Curry.

“These boys are still playing at a high level. I feel like Bron can play 4 or 5 more and be here in 2028 [the Los Angeles Olympics],” Durant told ESPN.

“Steph is still playing good football. I'm doing well, and…I don't want this to be a goodbye trip or make it almost the three of us. It's about trying to make it five in a row.”
