The TalkSPORT pundit is delighted to see “joke” Burnley and Luton Town relegated

Burnley were relegated from the Premier League on Saturday and Luton Town are in danger of the same fate and TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O'Hara is delighted to see the pair go down.

Vincent Kompany's side were beaten 2-1 by Tottenham to secure their place in the Championship next season, while Luton lost 3-1 to West Ham which leaves them three points behind Nottingham Forest with a game to go, Forest also have a superior goal difference.

It was good for the two teams that went up to the Premier League last season as Burnley played well in recent weeks, while Luton took their fight to the last day with the resources they have.

Both clubs will be stronger than ever in the current campaign but TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O'Hara is happy to see these teams go down as he believes they are not good enough to play well in England.

Speaking after the Premier League games at 3pm on Saturday on TalkSPORT, O'Hara said he believed Burnley and Luton deserved to be relegated and labeled their goal difference “an absolute joke.”

“Over time they went down. Nothing came of those games today for them”, the former Tottenham star said via OneFootball.

“They must be coming down. The goal difference is an absolute joke and they are not good enough to stay in the Premier League.

“It's a ruthless business to be in the top team and the teams that will come out of the Championship must be better.

“They're going down and I'm saying it because they weren't good yet.”
