Potential Trade Destinations for Brandon Ingram – Basketball Insiders

The New Orleans Pelicans are expected to heavily explore the trade market for their All-Star wing, Brandon Ingram, this coming summer. Ingram, a former Most Improved Player of the Year, will create healthy offspring for many teams. He is a tall small forward who can get almost any shot he wants at any time standing at six-foot-8. Several teams looking for offensive linemen at the wing position are likely to call the Pelicans about a potential deal. Without further adieu, here are the three best trades for Brandon Ingram.

Potential Trade Destinations for Pelicans All-Star, Brandon Ingram

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks may be doing big things this offseason. Especially since they hold a perfect draft pick. As a result, many have speculated that the team will move Trae Young and/or Dejounte Murray. Atlanta going after a scoring wing like Brandon Ingram makes all the sense in the world if they trade their goal scorers. Not to mention that they will need a veteran like Ingram if they decide to enter a rebuilding phase.

The Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers need another strong goaltender without Donovan Mitchell. If the team brings Mitchell back with an extension, they will need someone to carry some of the offensive load. Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley are good defensively, but they still have a lot of work to do in the offensive department. Brandon Ingram will alleviate many of Cleveland's scoring woes. Adding 19.4 career points per game to the Cavaliers frontcourt will not only help Mobley and Allen, but also create a good two-point team next to Donovan Mitchell.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to be one of, if not, the most aggressive team this coming season. Their top target is Paul George, but they have other options if that plan doesn't work out. The 76ers boast plenty of cap space and have plenty of trade money to lure the New Orleans Pelicans if they set their sights on Brandon Ingram. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are now two different players.

Adding Brandon Ingram to the mix will take the offensive pressure off the star duo and give the 76ers starters an extra weapon. Not to mention that it will give the team depth considering Joel Embiid's injury history. While the 76ers would love to get Paul George or Jimmy Butler, Brandon Ingram will be the biggest consolation prize this season. All in all, Brandon Ingram will be one of the most sought-after stars on the trade market this summer.
