On Sunday at Wimbledon, on the sunny Center Court, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic. 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(4) in the one-sided final.
Spanish now 4-0 in the Grand Slam final. He also won the In the US Open in half 2022Wimbledon last year, and Roland-Garros last month.
Alcaraz is the second man in the Open Era to win his four consecutive major finals, after Roger Federer.
From the start, Alcaraz made Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champion, uncomfortable and never let go. The Spaniard broke Serbia in the first game, 14 minutes, and that sets the tone for the game.

“I think he was coming out of the blocks ready to fight and ready to play his best level right away, which was not the case last year where I started better, I got a comfortable first set win.
“Today, from the first point, he was there, he was good. “
By the time the Serbian wanted to leave, the game was almost over.
“I tried to fight my way in the third and I came back,” said Djokovic, “I saved three points, I extended the match a little bit. But I think it was inevitable that he would win today because he came off the court with a better level of tennis. It's as simple as that.
“All in all, the way I felt in court today opposing him, I was under the court. That's all. He was a better player. He played every shot better than me.
“I don't think I could have done anything more. Try to pump yourself maybe, yes. Enter the crowd. That's what happened in the third. That slowed me down.
“Of course, he also wouldn't let me have too many free points in my offer. He was studying ministry. He played in many genres.

“Yes, it's a great feeling to even think about being the winner of the French Open and the Wimbledon champion in the same year, that few players have done before. It's unbelievable.
“I'm trying to realize that I've won Wimbledon twice and I'm trying to feel that it was the same feeling as last year.”
In 21 years and 70 days, Alcaraz is the youngest player in the Open Era to win Roland-Garros/Wimbledon twice in the same year.
“Well, obviously I've seen and heard all the statistics that I'm the youngest to win Roland-Garros and Wimbledon in the same year, to win anything.
“I honestly try not to think about it too much. Obviously, it's a really good start to my career, but I have to go on. I have to keep making my way.
“At the end of my career, I want to sit at the same table with the big guys. That is my main goal. That's my dream right now. It doesn't matter that I won four Grand Slams at that age 21. If I don't continue, all these competitions for me, mean nothing.
“I really want to continue. I will try to keep winning and finish my career with a lot of them.”
