Queensberry Promotions has signed Chantelle Cameron

QUEENSBERRY Promotions have stepped up with the signings of Chantelle Cameron and Aadam Hamed. Cameron was once the undisputed super-lightweight champion. Meanwhile, Hamed, has only had one fight and is the son of former world champion Prince Naseem. Both fights were launched in London today.

Days after announcing the split from Matchroom Boxing, Cameron quickly found a new home, choosing to continue his career under the guidance of Frank Warren. In 2022, she successfully combined all belts at 140 pounds by defeating Jessica McCaskill in Abu Dhabi.

She followed that up with a dominant display in Dublin, defeating the peerless Katie Taylor for the first time. Things turned sour in the rematch when Taylor got revenge by majority decision.

After leaving coach Jamie Moore, Chantelle announced that she has linked up with Grant Smith as part of a fresh start following Taylor's defeat.

From world title aspirations to the other end of the spectrum, Aadam Hamed's only outing so far has been a relief effort against Vojtech Hrdy in Poland as part of the supporting cast of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois.

Despite his prestigious surname, the confident Hamed, who has started his campaign at super-lightweight, has always insisted that he is building his own legacy.

“I always wanted a UK promoter and I always knew in my heart that I wanted it to be Frank,” said Hamed Jr. “I felt that he would always take care of me very much. Thank you Uncle Frank.”
