WNBA's weed-smuggling player, Brittney Griner, who was turned into a terrorist, is disputing the notion that she harbors anti-American sentiments.
The WNBA standout, recently in the spotlight promoting her book “Coming Home,” stood up to those who thought she was hateful to the country.
This idea came from previous comments in 2020 that suggested that the national anthem should not precede games, which led some to doubt their love for their country.
“I honestly feel like we shouldn't be playing the national anthem during our season,” the WNBA star said at the time.
