Golf Business News – Tiger's Sun Day Red golf clubs sell out in hours

Tiger Woods' foray into the world of golf apparel and his new Sun Day Red colors seem to be popular with golf fans, with a collection of red shirts bearing his new Tiger logo selling out in the past few hours. goes on sale online May 5.

The new collection, which went on sale officially on the brand's website – sundayred.com – at midnight on Sunday night, includes polo shirts ranging from $120-170, but all were snapped up in all sizes within hours of trading.

The initial drop is only available to customers in the USA, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, while no dates have been given for when the range will go on sale in EMEA.

Sun Day Red launched in partnership with TaylorMade in February. The company is billed as an 'active lifestyle brand' with clothing and footwear lines.

Each garment incorporates specific design requests from Woods, including improved shoulder stitching that promotes full range of motion and unrestricted movement, two-way zippers, and pocket stitching that eliminates bunching, as well as collars and cuffs that are precisely designed and measured for efficiency.

Alongside clothing and footwear, the Sun Day Red range includes a number of other product categories, including gloves, hats, belts, eyewear and luggage.
