Floyd Schofield and H20 Sylve finally found common ground.

The undefeated duo will collide on the July 20 undercard of Jake Paul-Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) confirmed the fight on Wednesday, along with a new fight alongside the main event. Julio Cesar Chavez and former UFC star Darren Till in a six-round fight weighing in at 190 pounds.

Both fights are part of the main card that will be streamed live on Netflix.

The Schofield-Sylve talks dragged on for several weeks, including a social media beef between the young prospects. The previous criteria for completion were an agreed upon weight limit and hard come results.

Schofield (17-0, 12 knockouts) has been granted his terms if he fights for a second time in 2024. The 21-year-old Austin, Texas-based native won a fifth-round knockout over Esteuri Suero in Las Vegas.

Another step up in class awaits the boxer promoted by Golden Boy Promotions/Davies Entertainment.

“Being on a card like this means a lot to me,” said Schofield. “I've worked hard to get fights like this, now it's time to show what I got. I walk into that ring undefeated, and I will leave undefeated.

“H2O may doubt me, but soon you will see that you are facing an unstoppable force. This is my time, and I look forward to showing the world what Kid Austin can do. “

Sylve (11-0, 9 KOs) signed with MVP in 2022 and has slightly raised his level of competition and his profile.

The 20-year-old from Long Beach, California spoke on the debut of MVProspect on DAZN last May. It led to his first fight going the distance, although he remains perfect as a professional.

His tenure at lightweight was called into question after his last ring appearance. Sylve was a full division above the lightweight limit in Feb. 2 points in ten rounds against Estevan Falcao.

Weight loss has become a big issue in the industry in recent weeks. The conversation was greatly improved with Ryan Garcia (25-1, 20 KOs) being 3.2 pounds over the limit in his April 20 decision win over undefeated Devin Haney.

Schofield stuck to his guns with the heavy weight limit for this fight, among other terms agreed to by Sylve.

“I can't wait to get in the ring with 'Kid Austin,'” said Sylve. “He is another step on my road to success and when I'm done with him, he wishes he never signed a contract. It's an honor to fight for this historic card and on Saturday, July 20th, over 270 million fans can tune in on Netflix and over 80,000 live fans at AT&T Stadium will have the opportunity to see me take care of 'Kid Austin' just once. everything. Thank you to MVP and Netflix for this once in a lifetime opportunity. “
