Chelsea did 'Chelsea'.
The Blues have parted ways with manager Mauricio Pochettino after just 11 months in charge, with key disagreements over his end-of-season review leading to a parting of ways. Nothing is ever easy at Stamford Bridge, is it?
Predictably, social media went a little crazy over the news.
Proppa chelsea will fire Poch now he has betrayed them. Hilarious club.

The Poch will leave Chelsea and the Hotel & Training complex as compensation 😂😂

Pochettino: “Are you releasing me?!?”
Todd Boehly: “Poch, some fans like to win, we don't know, we don't want to know.” In fact, it's a fan base we could do without”
“That's it, after one season, so much time and luck?”

A few months into the 2023/24 season, this fate seemed inevitable as Chelsea continued to struggle on the pitch and Pochettino found himself at odds with a large number of fans due to his Tottenham roots.
However, 2024 saw a huge uptick in form for Chelsea, who returned to sixth in the Premier League and will be playing Europa League football next year despite Manchester United's surprise win over Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
I'm not going to lie I don't know why Chelsea let Pochettino leave. He had started to show signs of cooking those children.

I honestly think Pochettino deserved another season but this is Chelsea they don't accept the minimum 🤦♂️🤦♂️😤

Who is the next boss was a real debate.
Chelsea are searching for a permanent fourth manager of the Boehly-Clearlake era and the possibilities seem endless, such is the unexpected chaos of this iteration of Chelsea.
they will hire an 18-year-old Brazilian

The team loved Mauricio Pochettino. Do you know how important it is for a small group to serve the Master?
As I said before, I have a lot of admiration for Pochettino, because of how close the team seemed to be.
This next appointment is CRUCIAL.

If I had a coin for every time Chelsea sacked a good manager early to appoint an unapproved manager from Brighton I'd have 2 coins, which isn't much but it's amazing that it happened twice.#Chelsea #Pochettino #De_Zerbi

Much of the frustration was directed at co-owner Todd Boehly, who has become the head of Chelsea's ownership group despite not being responsible for everything at Stamford Bridge.
Reports suggest that Boehly was not even involved in meetings with Pochettino, but that did not stop fans from looking to America.
Boehly, you are an idiot. Get out of my club. The recently sacked manager has put us in 6th place and the worst team we have seen in a long time.
— Jeff Young (@JeffYoungDJ) May 21, 2024
Without getting bucketloads of money, I can't see any manager in their right mind who would want to work with Boehly.

Chelsea management needs to be patient with the coaches. You can't bend your way to the top.
– Dissolution (@Oluwamudi) May 21, 2024
In the end, whether fans wanted Pochettino to stay or not, the general feeling on social media was the same it's bad.
The desperate search for some form of stability continues.
No coach will commit for a long time if he doesn't hear the running machine in the team. This situation may become more common at Chelsea in the future.

Leaving Poch at Chelsea is a joke and what I hate about modern football, is quick success rather than allowing managers to build a successful future.
— Toby Howarth (@TobyHowarth) May 21, 2024
100% sure these managers hate to see Chelsea fans happy😌😌😌
