The midfielder has struggled at the Etihad Stadium following his move from Leeds United.

Phillips has spent most of his Man City career warming the bench but now his time at the club may soon be over.

According to sports reports, Man City have decided to let the midfielder leave the club if they receive a €30m (£25m) contract.

The 28-year-old Phillips had a challenging 2023-24 season where he remained out of favor at City until he was loaned out to West Ham in January.

This season, Phillips played only ten games for City and was unable to prove himself as a mainstay in Pep Guardiola's starting eleven.

After moving to east London, he started just three league games, David Moyes suspended him in one and sent him off in the other.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola has no plans to keep Kalvin Phillips in the team.

Due to his poor performance at the London Stadium, he was dropped from the bench and left out of Gareth Southgate's England team that will play in the European Championships to be held in Germany.

The Solezwe report links him with a move to Everton, and Sean Dyche's side are looking at a loan move for the midfielder.

Despite the fact that the club spent £45 million (money per Sky Sports) on him in 2022, Phillips knows his time at City is over, and after two challenging years, he is looking for a new opportunity.

Phillips should leave Man City this summer

If the right opportunity presents itself, Phillips would love to leave England and join a Champions League side.

Leaving Man City is what Phillips needs in his career to revive it.

The midfielder has been one of the most important players in England for the past few years but leaving Leeds United began the decline of his promising career.
