The Rays selected the right-hander's contract Justin Sterner from Triple-A Durham, according to a team announcement. He will be making his MLB debut when he enters the game. Left hand Tyler Alexander optioned to Durham in a related move to make room on the active roster. Tampa Bay already has a spot on the 40-man roster, so no additional moves were necessary. Their 40-man roster is now at its best.
