Man Utd have set a price tag of just under £40m for Jadon Sancho this summer
Manchester United are still keen to sell Jadon Sancho this summer regardless of who the manager is, and want £40m according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
United have yet to make a decision on Erik ten Hag's future but it looks like they have made a decision when it comes to Sancho.
The striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund following a public spat with Ten Hag, and it is clear that his days at Old Trafford are numbered.
United want £40m for Jadon Sancho
Sancho joined United from Dortmund in a deal worth £73m in 2021 and has made 82 appearances for the club scoring 12 goals.
The 24-year-old has not featured for the Red Devils since last August and has played three Premier League games for the club in the first half of the season.
Sancho refused to apologize to Ten Hag after responding to the Dutchman's allegations that he was not up to the required level in training, and was subsequently dropped from the first team.
A solution was found in January when Sancho returned to Dortmund where he established himself as a key player under Edin Terzic and played a key role in the German club's run to the Champions League final.
There is no doubt that Dortmund would love to make Sancho's move permanent and Romano took to X.com to reveal United's asking price.

United will be busy this summer and the upcoming window is the first for Sim Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos since taking control of football operations.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, and are also looking to strengthen their defense following the departure of Raphael Varane.
United will need to add quality to their squad if they are to improve on last season's eighth place finish and return to the Champions League.
