WATCH: Amazing world record shots for the longest golf shots hit in a moving car

Marcus Armitage and Paul O'Neill set a new world record for the longest golf putt hit in a moving car a few years ago.

This video is still moving on social media.

Armitage managed to smash the ball high into the moving BMW of O'Neill at a distance of 277.06m (908 ft 9.8 in).

It took the pair several attempts before beating the previous distance by 30 yards at Elvington Airfield, York, UK.

Armitage hit the ball 277 meters (303 yards) down the fairway and into the front passenger seat of the car with the Callaway Epic Driver.

To catch the ball, the BMW M8 convertible was traveling at a speed of 71 mph (114 km/h).

Surpassing the record set by F1 driver David Coulthard and golf professional Jake Shepherd nine years earlier, the European Tour and Callaway both made their way to Armitage and O'Neill.

Despite many attempts, Armitage and O'Neill both refused to back down from the challenge that day.

At one point, a golf ball hit the windshield and shattered the glass.

However, nothing stopped them from continuing and supporting each other in their efforts.

One of their tries was disallowed because the ball bounced back into the car when they tried.

However, the two cheered happily before hearing that they would have to try again.

After many amazing attempts, the duo finally managed to put it together well to win the title of the amazing record.
