Kent emerges as catcher as Texas A&M heads to Omaha • D1Baseball

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Kaeden Kent was just the next man up for A&M.

After losing star quarterback Braden Montgomery for the year to an injury in the series opener against Oregon, the Aggies added Kent, a sophomore, to the roster. Travis Chestnut switched to center field, and Kent took over at second base.

In the post-opening press conference, Texas A&M head coach Jim Schlossnagle discussed the loss of Montgomery and how the Aggies are moving forward.
