The Gunners are looking at Dominic Solanke

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, according to The Express.

Mikel Arteta is determined to add firepower to his squad after losing the Premier League title to Man City in the last two attempts.

The Gunners closed the gap on Man City, from five points in 2022-23 to two points in 2023-24.

However, they have failed to end Pep Guardiola's Man City dominance in the Premier League and in the summer transfer window, the Gunners are ready to spend again to improve the quality of their squad.

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko could be an option as a replacement, however, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are all interested in signing the Slovenian.

The Gunners could be in danger of missing out on a striker and look for an alternative if they miss out on a Bundesliga striker.

At the Emirates Stadium, signing a top-class striker is a key objective this summer.

In the past, the club decided not to sign the number 9 in favor of Kai Havertz who leads the line in north London.

Dominic Solanke could leave Bournemouth for £65m with Arsenal keen on the striker.

Solanke will be available for £65 million this summer, according to The Athletic.

At the Cherries last season, Solanke registered 19 goals and three assists in his best season of his career.

Due to his achievements, it has been predicted that he will sign for a “big” Premier League club ahead of next season.

The Arsenal target was one of the best strikers last season

Although Solanke is attracting a lot of attention, Bournemouth will be desperate to keep hold of one of their most valuable players.

Behind Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, and Alexander Isak, the 26-year-old is tied for fourth on the Premier League scoring list.

Despite leading the line well for Andoni Iraola's side, Solanke has been left out of England's Euro 2024 squad in favor of Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins and Brentford's Ivan Toney.
